Terms of sale
Last updated: October 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale of the services offered on the IQ Pass website: the one-time unlock of a test result (IQ offer) and the monthly IQ+ subscription (IQ+ offer). Placing an order implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Nature of the service
IQ Pass provides an online cognitive estimate for information, entertainment and personal development purposes. It is not a standardised psychometric IQ test. The result is not an official IQ and is neither a diagnosis nor a psychological or medical assessment. It cannot be used in any medical, educational, professional or administrative context.
Only an assessment carried out by a psychologist gives a recognised IQ. We encourage anyone for whom this result matters to take one. IQ Pass is intended as a first indication at a lower cost.
3. Prices and payment
IQ offer: €9.99 including taxes, one-time payment, for the full report of one test.
IQ+ offer: 7-day free trial, then €9.99 including taxes per month.
Payment is secured by our provider Stripe. IQ Pass never has access to your bank details.
4. IQ+ subscription
The subscription gives access to the development space (exercises, articles, personalised plan, progress tracking) and unlocks 3 test results per calendar month. The test that led to the subscription counts towards this quota. The counter resets on the 1st of each month and unused tests do not carry over. Beyond that, each additional result can be bought individually at the IQ offer price.
The free trial lasts 7 days from subscription. If you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription becomes paid and renews automatically every month until cancelled.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from "My account", under "My subscription", or by writing to support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period (or trial): no further charge is made and access remains open until that date. No fee is charged.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you normally have 14 days to withdraw. However, a test result is digital content supplied immediately after payment: by requesting immediate access and ticking the box provided, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal for this content (article L221-28, 13°). For the IQ+ subscription, cancelling during the free trial costs nothing.
7. Refunds
If a technical malfunction prevents access to a paid result, or in case of double payment, contact support: we will refund you after verification.
8. Liability
Results are provided for information only. IQ Pass cannot be held liable for decisions made solely on their basis, nor for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or external causes.
9. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy.
10. Disputes and governing law
In case of dispute, please contact support first to find an amicable solution. Failing agreement, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator (articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), whose details are available on request. These terms are governed by French law.
